Description

Frishman Hollow was approved in 2006 and consists of 32 affordable housing units – 16 two bedroom units, and 16 one bedroom units – in eight fourplex buildings and 65 parking spaces.

Funding

The property site was donated to Truckee by East West Partners as part of the Gray’s Crossing specific plan approval process. A community development block grant of $1.5 million was given to the town in 2005 to provide infrastructure development, a trail from Alder Drive to Donner Pass Road, and road improvements to the property. A $4 million state grant was awarded to the town from the California Department of Housing and Community Development Loan and Grant Committee as part of the HOME Investment Partnership Program.

Frishman Hollow Income Caps

Anyone applying will have to earn household income of 60% or less of area median income (AMI) for Nevada County for their household size. Learn more about Nevada County AMI here.
